Up for sale is a very cool vintage hand turned BANKSIA SEED POD scent diffuser / POTPOURRI vessel. This one has been artfully turned by someone who knew what they were doing & is proportionally good.

Historically, potpourri originated in France during the 17th century, where the name literally means “rotten pot.” It was made by layering fresh herbs and flowers, which were allowed to ferment slightly before being dried. This mixture was then placed in decorative containers. Modern potpourri is less about fermentation and more about maintaining fragrance using essential oils and dried botanicals.
