Vintage tools -  plane Y1504

Up for sale is a gorgeous & unusual antique FRENCH smoothing PLANE that has some age to it. It looks to be made out of Cormier wood & has a cool carved escapement.

A beautiful rich & warm patina to the wood, a great DISPLAY piece.

Weight - 900g

Size: 210mm long x 57mm wide & cuts 42mm approximately 

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a few shrinkage checks to the end grain & about 5 x old worm holes, it's a lovely piece & part of the Yves Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
