Vintage tools - hammer Y470
Up for sale is a rare antique FRENCH DENGLE STOCK & HAMMER for beating out the edge of a scythe blade prior to the final sharpening with a scythe stone.
It’s a very old piece & has the same owners stamps to both tools.
The hammer is 770g & the head is 110mm x 30mm X 35mm face, handle extends 140mm

CONDITION
This dengle stock & hammer are in authentic antique condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, the hammer has mushrooming to one end & the dengle stock has been re steeled to the top- it looks to have been blacksmith done- as to be expected with a seriously old tool, this denglestock & hammer are part of the Longfils collection that we purchased in France in 2019.
