A HERITAGE SAWS Custom FITZROY model DOVETAIL SAW, this one has a striking and totally unique QUILTED TIGER MYRTLE handle & is a 14ppi rip profile in 0.5mm thick plate.

Plate length is 300mm & 45mm deep, overall 440mm long

Our HERITAGE SAWS are hand made at Vintage Tool Shop, Northcote, MELBOURNE  completely hand shaped & fashioned.

The Heritage Saws hand STAMPED BRASS BACKS are folded as in the traditional manner in house; our HAND MADE fancy timber HANDLES are shaped with rasps & files; we use Australian made brass SAW BOLTS on our saws; the saw plates are CUT BY HAND & teeth precision HAND FILED (by Heritage Saw partner @jimthesawman).

Our dovetail saw blades are American 1075 spring steel 0.5mm thick & the brass backs are 3mm thick cartridge brass.

These are hand made saws & they will carry the marks of our making, unlike a mass produced machine made saw, each one of ours are unique.

These are saws made in the traditional way - pre industrial revolution style & designed to last 200 years.
