Up for sale is a larger HERITAGE SAWS KINGSTON  model 14” CARCASS SAW with an insanely quilted TASMANIAN MYRTLE handle & is a fine 11ppi CROSSCUT profile.

A good toothing for hard & soft timber alike. 

The saw plate is 0.8mm 1085 American spring steel, plate length is 355mm & 100mm deep, sharpened to 15° of rake and 25° of fleam.

The hang angle on this saw is 55°.

Our HERITAGE SAWS are made at Vintage Tool Shop, Northcote, MELBOURNE  completely hand shaped & fashioned by Mike & Jim.

The Heritage Saws hand STAMPED BRASS BACKS are folded as in the traditional manner in house; our HAND MADE  timber HANDLES are shaped with rasps & files; we use AUSTRALIAN MADE brass SAW BOLTS on our saws; the saw plates are CUT BY HAND & teeth precision HAND FILED.

**Note that timber is a natural product therefore some grain and colour variations will occur, also as these are a hand made tool & not mass produced, there will be slight variations & artefacts & evidence of handwork upon the tool. However be aware that you are buying a saw that is designed to last 200+ years, and designed to be a pleasure to use.**

These are saws made in the traditional way - pre industrial revolution style.
