Vintage tools - plane Y1538

Up for sale is a gorgeous & unusual antique FRENCH ROMAN STYLE smoothing PLANE that has some age to it. It looks to have been user made and it displays plenty of character. Unusual blade stamps on this one.

A beautiful rich & warm patina to the wood, a great DISPLAY piece.

Weight - 650g

Size: 230mm long x 50mm wide & with a 40mm cutter

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a few scratches, chips & wear. A laminated wooden body. It's a lovely piece & part of the Yves Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
