Vintage tools - chisel D1889

Up for sale is an incredibly ancient GOUGE CHISEL, possibly of DUTCH or SCANDINAVIAN origin.
It looks very very early and possibly blacksmith forged. Possibly 18th century or earlier, some interesting touchmarks on the neck.

Size: 35mm wide tip x 385mm Long overall.

Weight: 450g

CONDITION

This chisel is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, a couple of splits to the handle, a fantastic display piece that has incredible character.
