French antique tools -  adze Y49

Up for sale is an early & unusual antique FRENCH double bladed YOKE MAKERS ADZE.

The blade is 35mm wide on one side & 30mm on the other & measures 320mm long along the head, its an impressive piece.

Weight -   580g

CONDITION

This adze is in authentic antique condition, a dark patina & some pitting as to be expected with a possible 18th century tool. This adze was part of the Longfils tool collection & purchased in France in 2019.
