Up for sale is a cool antique DOVETAILED steel INFILL PLANE with gorgeous ROSEWOOD INFILLS by ALEXANDER MATHIESON of GLASGOW.

These infill planes really are the luxury yacht of the planing world, with an extra thick laminated steel cutter & fine mouth, plus with the steel cutter bedded against the rosewood infill, they never chatter.

Weight - 1.9kg

Size:186mm x 66mm with a 57mm cutter.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a replacement cutter & a previous owners marks on the front bun & an age check to the top of the front bun. A gorgeous dovetailed steel infill plane by Mathieson.
