Vintage tools - infill plane N1156

Up for sale is an antique heavy CAST SMOOTHING PLANE with a gorgeous TASMANIAN BLACKWOOD INFILL.

These really are the luxury yacht of the planing world, with an extra thick laminated steel cutter bedded against the timber infill, they never chatter.

Weight - 2kg

Size: 207mm x 66mm with a 52mm cutter.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, the infills are laminated out of pieces. It’s a lovely smoothing plane that is locally made with a Blackwood infill.
