Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous matching numbers antique SPIERS INFILL SHOULDER PLANE with a ROSEWOOD INFILL & with an  IRON BODY, with a cutter by WARD & PAYNE.

Signed on the nose & stamped No:8 on the body, blade & wedge, an original matching numbers plane.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use. Some scattered light pitting, the mouth is a mere slit & tight, it’s a lovely plane for the workshop & a handy size.
