Vintage tools -  infill plane N624

Up for sale is a unique antique CAST IRON INFILL plane with a gorgeous MAHOGANY INFILL & a WILLIAM MARPLES cutter.

Weight -   2.9kg

Size: 380mm x 70mm with a 63mm cutter.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some cracking & strike damage to the rear end of the cast iron body that has been done a long time ago. The rear handle has some cool period repairs including an iron bracket to the front of the handle & a filled hole in the wedge. A lovely old battler that could still punch above its weight today after a sharpen.
