Up for sale is a high quality vintage ECE PRIMUS GERMAN SMOOTHING plane.

A Beech body and a Hornbeam sole that is hard wearing for effortless planning. A unique spring loaded blade tensioning mechanism, with lateral adjustment & a nice large & easy depth adjustment knob.

Size: 220mm x 63mm wide body with a 48mm cutter

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic lightly used vintage condition. Some tarnish to the blade & a well done repair to the tensioning rod, It will require sharpening prior to use. A high performance smoothing plane from one of the best German makers.
