Vintage tools -  mending tool TS24-TS33

Up for sale is a gorgeous hand turned TIGER MYRTLE DARNING MUSHROOM, a small sock mending tool for darning.

This one is fashioned out of exquisite native TIGER MYRTLE with incredible grain. Tiger Myrtle is ONLY found in one valley in Tasmania & is the rare result of a tree that has been attacked by a particular moth that carries a particular fungus- incredibly vivid tiger striped spalting is the result.

Hand made in TASMANIA by Trevor Semmens.
