Up for sale is an early & unusual antique FRENCH MILLSTONE HAMMER HEAD. Used for dressing millstones/rock.

The head measures 215mm long along the head & the chipping edges are 28mm wide.

CONDITION

This axe head is in authentic antique condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use. Some rust marks & pitting. This millwrights hammer head was part of the Longfils tool collection & purchased in France in 2019.
