Up for sale is an antique BARBERS HONE by FRANZ SWATY, a SWATYn.
These are fantastic little stones to keep within reach on the workbench, they cut dry without water or oil & are great for when you just want to touch up a chisel / plane iron / knife or razor. Swaty hones are highly regarded in the straight razor community.

CONDITION
This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some flea bite chips to the edges & heavier chips to the front face, essential for keeping an edge on your tools in your workshop - we keep a couple in the cutlery drawer in our kitchen.
