Up for sale is a German THURINGIAN SLATE by the size, colour & fineness. A hard to find 8” light green example.

A superb fine finishing natural water stone around 8-12k grit rating. Great for keeping your straight razors cutting, these are also an amazingly good finishing stone for your tools & knives.

CONDITION

This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, still in its original box with the trade label- the top part of the catch is broken, the stone is fixed / factory glued into the box, no chips, it's a greenish yellowish grey colour, these are among the finest European natural stones, ready to get your gear razor sharp.
