Up for sale is a large antique natural stone RAZOR HONE it looks to be a Scottish Blue Water Of Ayr stone by the size, colour & fineness.
A superb fine finishing natural water stone around 8-12k grit rating. Great for keeping your straight razors cutting, these are also an amazingly good finishing stone for your tools & knives.
Size - 175mm x 40mm x 21mm tapering to 18mm on one edge

CONDITION
This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some chips and wear & scratches to the long edges. However one face is flat enough to use & silky smooth. These dark blue Water Of Ayr are among the finest European natural stones, ready to get your gear razor sharp.
