Up for sale is an antique RAZOR HONE it looks to be a German THURINGIAN SLATE by the size, colour & fineness. This one is a hybrid combination slice of jet black & green with a red vein. Super fine.
A superb fine finishing natural water stone around 8-12k grit rating. Great for keeping your straight razors cutting, these are also an amazingly good finishing stone for your tools & knives.
Size - 113mm x 31mm x 10mm.

CONDITION
This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some chips to the rear of the stone where it would have been glued into a small wooden box, these are among the finest European natural stones, ready to get your gear razor sharp. This one is a highly unusual strata combination.
