Up for sale is a hard to find large genuine Escher & Sohn “THE CELEBRATED WATER RAZOR HONE”.  A German THURINGIAN SLATE of the finest quality. The stone retains its original Escher & Sohn trade label with the goblet in shield stamp.

A superb fine finishing natural water stone around 8-12k grit rating. Great for keeping your straight razors cutting, these are also an amazingly good finishing stone for your tools & knives.

CONDITION

This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, still with the original trade label- it will require dressing prior to use, 3 x small chips to the edges, these are among the finest European natural stones, ready to get your gear razor sharp.
