Up for sale is an antique RAZOR HONE it looks to be a German THURINGIAN SLATE “The Celebrated Waterstone” by the size, colour & fineness.
A superb fine finishing natural water stone around 8-12k grit rating. Great for keeping your straight razors cutting, these are also an amazingly good finishing stone for your tools & knives.
Size - 122mm x 28mm x 15mm.
Weight - stone in holder 250g

This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some small chips to one end, these are among the finest European natural stones, good for getting your gear razor sharp.
