Up for sale is an antique natural sharpening stone a NORTON BEAR HARD / SURGICAL BLACK ARKANSAS.

These are a super hard & dense fine cutting stone, the black stones were traditionally used by Doctors & Dentists for sharpening medical instruments-  perfect for putting a scary sharp edge on your tools. It’s in lightly used condition & comes in it’s original box. Size: 77mm x 50mm x 24mm thick.

This stone is in authentic lightly used vintage condition, its a tidy stone- all edges are crisp & it has a full trade label stamp  down one edge, essential for keeping a superlative edge on your tools in your workshop.
