Up for sale is an early & unusual antique FRENCH axe HEAD, its huge & weighs 2.8kg / 6.1lb.
Stamped with an incused blacksmiths touch mark of VDP in an early looking font.
Size - The head is 275mm long x 135mm wide at the bit, its an unusual piece.
Weight - 2.8kg
CONDITION
This axe head is in authentic antique condition, a dark patina & some pitting as to be expected with a possible 17th or 18th century tool.
