Vintage tools - Cleaver Y67
Up for sale is an antique FRENCH CLEAVER that looks to be hand forged, a heavy wedge profiled blade, 70mm wide x 215mm 360mm overall, clinched rat tail tang construction.
Extra nice & large blacksmiths touch marks to the blade, unusually on the RH blade side, so only visible when using it left handed. This cleaver came from a large collection of French tools that we imported in 2019.

CONDITION
This cleaver is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, will require a sharpen prior to use. Some age checks in the original handle, an authentic condition early French cleaver.
