Antique hand tools - chisel T1252 EB #441:
Up for sale is an unusual & EARLY 1/2inch / 12mm Swan Neck Mortise CHISEL by JOHN BLACKWELL of Sheffield.
Used for clearing out the back of blind mortises, very handy, this one is a 90° bend, very useful & hard to find.
Weigh - 1.4kg
Size: 12mm wide blade, 640mm overall.

CONDITION
In authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, the handle is a replacement, some pitting, it's an old chisel & most likely dates to around the 1870s, a nice laminated cast steel blade on this one.
