Up for sale is a cool contemporary A55 TRYING PLANE by AUSTRALIAN plane makers HNT / Terry Gordon in its original box. It comes with a TOOL STEEL blade & an extra HSS blade- how good is that.

Crafted out of rock hard GIDGEE with a 6mm thick tool steel blade hardened to Rockwell  62-64. A blade bed angle of 55° for harder Australian Timbers. A brass wear insert to the mouth & a Norris style adjuster to make lateral & depth adjustment a breeze.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic lightly used condition, wear and tear consistent with age & light use- a tiny chip out of the front RH corner of the sole & a couple of tear out spots on its glassy smooth Gidgee sole. This plane has had light use only & is a good example. HNT Gordon quality it’s a lovely plane for the workshop, sharp enough to use.
