Vintage tools - drawknife D1567
Up for sale is an interesting WW2 era & dated vintage 8” DRAWKNIFE (shaving knife) by SHEFFIELD toolmaker JOSEPH TYZACK & SON. Dated 1944 with the war department broad arrow stamp & the rivets are steel not the usual brass, as the brass was diverted into shell casings & military production.
The cutting edge is straight & is 203mm long.
The drawknife is 345mm overall long with 125mm handles.

CONDITION
This drawknife is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age and use, some light pitting. A sturdy & interesting WW2 era drawknife by J.TYZACK, it will require a sharpen.
