Up for sale is an antique RAZOR HONE it looks to be possibly a German THURINGIAN SLATE by the size, colour & fineness.
A superb fine finishing natural water stone around 8-12k grit rating. Great for keeping your straight razors cutting, these are also an amazingly good finishing stone for your tools & knives.
