Vintage tools - chisel set D926

A gorgeous set of 6 x vintage BENT CARVING CHISELS by WILLIAM MARPLES of SHEFFIELD England, with gorgeous figured BOXWOOD handles.

1 x 16mm spoon gouge

1 x 7mm x 7mm bent V gouge

1 x 15mm reverse bent gouge 

1 x 16mm bent straight fishtail 

1 x 9mm x 9mm straight V gouge 

1 x 9mm bent straight fishtail 

Note that measurements are made with a vernier & may vary a fraction.

CONDITION

These chisels are in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, the bent V gouge has a split ferrule, tidy with gorgeous figured boxwood handles, they will require light sharpening prior to use, a lovely set by an iconic maker.
