Up for sale is an antique STANLEY No:78 DUPLEX REBATE / RABBET PLANE, an American made example with the early Miller style handle with acanthus scrollwork & 1880s STANLEY RULE & LEVEL cutter, the body has an S casting mark.

CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, no fence or depth stop & the nicker & screw are absent. A nice early example of an American No:78 plane.
