Vintage tools - plane Y1536
Up for sale is a gorgeous antique FRENCH ROMAN STYLE SCRUB PLANE, with a 30mm cutter.
The body is fashioned out of CORMIER / SERVICE TREE wood with an integral carved handle & a GOLDENBERG cutter stamped with the EYE OF HORUS to commemorate NAPOLEONS EGYPT campaign, its a very old style hand plane.
Weight - 400g
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some rust spots on the cutter & a few age related checks here & there, it's a lovely piece & part of the Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
