Vintage tools - sharpening stone H1025
Up for sale is an antique natural sharpening stone a WASHITA STONE - a natural stone from ARKANSAS, USA. This one is a nice size for knives & axes etc.
These are an amazingly good all round stone for woodworkers. These are old stock stones & much thicker than what is offered today & this is a nice dense example.
Size: 130mm x 47mm wide x 23mm thick at the thinnest point
Weight: 180g
CONDITION
This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, heavy wear to each side- the stone requires lapping, however it certainly is worth doing as it is a nice dense stone, essential for keeping an edge on your tools in your workshop.
