Up for sale is a hard to find vintage STANLEY No:3 Type 16 Sweetheart era circa 1933-41 SMOOTHING PLANE, proudly made in Canada with Rosewood handles.

Size: 233mm long x 53mm wide with a 43mm wide cutter

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, made in Canada, a chip off a corner of the levercap & a couple of pitting spots to the body, a full Stanley sweetheart cutter, nice rosewood handles. A diminutive little smoother that are really easy to push with their narrower cutters. Requires sharpening prior to use.
