Vintage tools - plane H1205
Up for sale is an antique SARGENT No:410 SMOOTHING PLANE, with the hard to find brass plaque insert lever cap.
It is in rather tidy condition & a good example of a collector grade plane. A similar size to a 4 1/2 plane.
Made in the USA with mahogany handles.
Size: 275mm long x 70mm wide with a 58mm wide blade.
Weight - 2.3kg
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use. Some storage rust marks to the base. Crisp handles & japanning and the lateral adjustment lever retains it’s bluing. The levercap sports most of its nickel plate. A hard plane to find in this condition, sharpen it up & plane away.
