Up for sale is a vintage STANLEY No:4 smoothing plane, made in the USA, it looks to be a type 11 circa 1910-18.
Arguably one of the best looking models with their low rosewood front knob, small adjustment wheels, 3 x patent dates & blank lever caps.
Weight - 1.6kg
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, will require sharpening prior to use. A short blade. Some rust marks. A gorgeous plane for the workshop.
