Up for sale is a cool MILLERS FALLS 10" No:1772 HAND Lion chuck BRACE with cocobolo crank & pad handles.

Pretty much their best quality brace at the time, a solid steel 1/2” thick frame and a fully enclosed ratchet mechanism, oil ports & bearings, gorgeous cocobolo handles & a lion patent chuck that is easy to tighten & unscrew.

An extremely handy tool, great for boring large diameter holes & excellent for driving screws in with a slotted tip bit, the leverage you can get with a brace is amazing.

Great for boring large diameter holes, never has a flat battery or need to run a lead out, very handy indeed.

This brace is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use. One of the jaws has been brazed, stamped on the frame "MILLERS FALLS, No:1772", a sturdy American made brace, perfect for the unplugged workshop. This is a high quality brace from the golden era of metal framed brace manufacturing.
