Up for sale is a hard to find Australian made CARTER No:4 smoothing plane this one is in pretty good shape.
Only produced for 10 years from 1945-55 they are a cool piece of the Australian post WW2 manufacturing boom times, 50mm cutter.
Weight - 1.7kg
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, an original example, minor finish loss & a full cutter. Will require sharpening prior to use, one of the handier planes to have in your workshop.
