Up for sale is a vintage STANLEY No:5 jack plane, this one looks to be a type 5 (1885-88) with an Australian cutter.
Weight - 1.9kg
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use. The wide base early rear handle has a couple of repairs & some chipping of the base of the front knob. A couple of flea bite chips on the bottom of the cap iron that will file out. The frog has a sturdy welded / brazed repair. A quick sharpen & you will be pulling shavings. An early Stanley plane with plenty of character.
