Up for sale is a vintage STANLEY No.4 & 1/2, a CANADIAN made type 15 - 1931-32.
A wider bodied smoother these have a 60mm cutter & make short work of finishing wider surfaces.
Weight - 2.1kg
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, an old repair to the rear handle & an English cutter- possibly an owner’s mark etched on one cheek, a large chip off the RH rear body by the handle that doesn’t affect use, one of the handier planes to have in your workshop.
