Up for sale is a hard to find Australian made CARTER No:4 smoothing plane.
Only produced for 10 years - 1945-1955 in Parramatta, NSW. They are a cool piece of history of the Australian post WW2 manufacturing boom times.
51mm cutter.
Weight - 1.65kg
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some scattered pitting, the original rear handle has a partial trade label, nice to have an Australian made plane in your workshop.
