Vintage tools -  hammer H858

Up for sale is an unusual vintage CROSS PEEN HAMMER - it has an unusual extra deep POLL for its size & the CROSS PANE END is TWISTED.

Looking at the flash lines across the head from drop forging, they are straight, so that would indicate that the hammer was forged with a twist in, not twisted after forging.

Perhaps to use as an offset hammer to avoid smashing your knuckles.

This hammer is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use. An unusual hammer for the workshop.
