Up for sale is a vintage SLATERS AXE / SAXE by JOSEPH TYZACK of Sheffield England, a venerable edge tool maker.
Size - The head is 55mm wide & measures 250mm long, 392mm overall long. 90mm spike
Weight - 740g
CONDITION
This tool is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, an age check in the top of the handle, however the handle feels stout & is of a strong rat tail tang & peened rivet construction.
