Up for sale is an impressive ORIGINAL BOWIE KNIFE, made in SOLINGEN Germany- a German steel town, similar to Sheffield.
Solingen steel is always hard as can be & this beast has been sharpened reasonably well by its previous owner. Gorgeous Rosewood handle scales with old style copper rivets.
Size - 255mm blade, 392mm overall length.
Weight - 700g

CONDITION
This knife is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & light use, 1 x sheath rivet missing & about 20mm of stitching on one edge, 1 small rust mark on the back of the blade, extremely clean & sharp, a nice quality steel knife.
