Up for sale is a hard to find antique STANLEY Rule & Level Co. USA No:25 LOW ANGLE transitional plane.
The blade is bedded at 36°, lower than the standard bench plane, perfect for curly & harder timbers. Looks to have an 1892 cutter. The No:25 was produced from 1869-1923.
The best of both planing worlds, the silky smoothness of a wooden sole gliding over your work with the easy adjustability of a lateral adjustment lever & depth adjustment knob.

CONDITION
This plane is in authentic antique condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some japanning loss, and wear to the sole, it’s a lovely plane that would make a fantastic user once sharpened up.
