Up for sale is an early production vintage CARTER Australia No:5 jack plane. A classic Aussie made plane. Carter were only in production from 1945 to 1955. It has the earlier type frog similar to a Stanleys, where the cutter beds against the full frog rather than the Carter developed frog where the cutter only contacts in two spots.
This one is proudly made in Australia with a full 50mm cutter & coachwood handles.

CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use. Some small chips to the rear mouth & a hanging hole in the heel. A very cool user grade Carter jack plane, these came with Swedish tool steel blades, sharpen it up and plane away.
