Up for sale is a larger antique FROE of rather solid construction by CORNEILIUS WHITEHOUSE & SONS of Cannock. Essential for riving timbers such as in chair making etc.
Size - The blade is 230mm long & measures 57mm wide at the widest point, handle length 385mm long.
Weight - 1.35kg
CONDITION
This froe is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a chip off the tip that doesn’t affect use & some mushrooming to the top of the blade, ready to rive timbers for its new owner.
