Vintage tools - plane N1650
Up for sale is a tidy vintage Australian made POPE No:4 & 1/2 wide bodied smoothing plane, made during the manufacturing boom years post WW2. Manufactured between 1946-56 only, Falcon Pope planes were initially made & then the name changed to Pope only in the early 1950s.
It’s rare to find one in such an original & clean condition.
Getting harder to find in good condition, 60mm wide cutter. In production 1946-1956 only & made in South Australia.

CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & light use. This is an extra tidy example with full japanning & the original finish to the handles, a chip off the bottom rear of the tote. Collector grade. A full original cutter, and one of the handier planes to have in your workshop & nice to have a genuine Australian made plane.
