Vintage tools - chisel set N1818

An iconic set of 8 x TITAN AUSTRALIA No:101 REGISTERED FIRMER CHISELS, these are surprisingly hard to find in good lengths & condition these days, hardened to rockwell 59-61 at the factory to suit hard Aussie timbers -

1 x 1.5" - 38mm wide blade x 120mm

1 x 1.25" - 32mm wide blade x 108mm 

blade length to shoulder

1 x 1" - 25mm wide blade x 102mm 

blade length to shoulder

1 x 7/8” - 22mm wide blade x 110mm 

blade length to shoulder RARE SIZE 

1 x 1/2” - 12mm wide blade x 92mm 

blade length to shoulder

1 x 3/8” - 9mm wide blade x 95mm blade length to shoulder 

1 x 1/4" - 6.5mm wide blade x 102mm

CONDITION

These chisels are in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use. Handle condition:

1.5" chisel- good

1.25" chisel- a fine check in the handle at the tang

1" chisel - the rear ferrule is mushroomed over the top 

7/8" chisel - good 

1/2" chisel - good, traces of paint on the handle 

3/8” chisel- rear ferrule may be a replacement 

1/4" chisel- some wear to the handle at the tang area 

1/8” chisel- good

A good set of Titans, some will require sharpening prior to use.
