Vintage tools - plane N1821

Up for sale is a gorgeous vintage STANLEY No:4 & 1/2 wide bodied smoothing plane, this one is proudly made in CANADA, with a full 60mm sweetheart cutter.

This plane has done little work. 1921-35 production with beautiful Indian rosewood handles. We have found that this era Stanley laminated steel cutters are among the hardest cutters that we have come across.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some minor finish loss, one of the handier planes to have in your workshop, sharpen it up and plane away.
