Up for sale is an absolutely stunning antique 20.5” SPIERS INFILL Jointer PLANE of dovetailed steel & INDIAN ROSEWOOD.

The luxury yacht of the planing world, high planing performance is achieved by a nice weighty rosewood infill, combined with a super tight (sub 1mm) mouth to minimise tear out + a near 4mm thick original matching numbers WARD & PAYNE parallel laminated steel cutter.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use. Scattered rust marks to the body. A well done period repair to the rear handle. This one has a nice tight mouth & matching numbers body & cutter. A nice plane to have in your workshop, these are the Rolls Royce of planes & a pleasure to use. Hard to find Spiers jointers in this size, its an absolute beauty.
